So I was spending sometime..in a place that is the Holy of Holies for sure...and I won't elaborate and I had a chance to read some. I read from 2 Corithians 8,9 and 10.
Paul was expressing to the Church in Corinth a movement of God that took place in the Church of Macedonia. The Macedonians were generously giving out of lack to support the other impoverished people around them.
-4Now, friends, I want to report on the surprising and generous ways in which God is working in the churches in Macedonia province. Fierce troubles came down on the people of those churches, pushing them to the very limit. The trial exposed their true colors: They were incredibly happy, though desperately poor. The pressure triggered something totally unexpected: an outpouring of pure and generous gifts. I was there and saw it for myself. They gave offerings of whatever they could—far more than they could afford!—pleading for the privilege of helping out in the relief of poor Christians
Paul was impressed and greatly encouraged by the measure of Love and response of these people. That he prompted the people of Corith to take stock in this example of servanthood and encouraged them give as well.
That's what prompted us to ask Titus to bring the relief offering to your attention, so that what was so well begun could be finished up. You do so well in so many things—you trust God, you're articulate, you're insightful, you're passionate, you love us—now, do your best in this, too
Paul later emphasized the importance of their giving and what it truly meant in the eyes of God.
8-9I'm not trying to order you around against your will. But by bringing in the Macedonians' enthusiasm as a stimulus to your love, I am hoping to bring the best out of you. You are familiar with the generosity of our Master, Jesus Christ. Rich as he was, he gave it all away for us—in one stroke he became poor and we became rich
When reading this scripture, something dawned on me. The greatest part of Jesus, I saw in a man, I spent the last 3 years serving. Evangelist Hasker has been one of the most important people in my life. *smirk. He not only has been a spiritual father, but a wonderful mentor and what I realized today a generous man.
The heart regulates the hands.
Hasker has been like the Macedonian people. A man who came from a hard life, found a place in the body and even in his lack found himself generously giving of himself to the communities of Greenville, SC. Pinching babies cheeks, finding employment for un wed mothers, speaking life into beaten down young men, slipping his last dollar into the hands of a needy person. Hasker was our Macedonian. He brought out the best in alot of us.
I know I have'nt been the most reliable of servants. But, the lessons I learned from him, I will carry with me for the rest of my life. I am proud of him. And I am proud that the heart I have is because he urged me to get on a bus heading into Jesse Jackson Townhomes on a hot summer day. I well with joy when I think of the lesson that he taught me.
And as I look ahead to the place that God is using me next. I gladly declare for my dear friend....
8-11God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you're ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. As one psalmist puts it, He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out. This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.
12-15Carrying out this social relief work involves far more than helping meet the bare needs of poor Christians. It also produces abundant and bountiful thanksgivings to God. This relief offering is a prod to live at your very best, showing your gratitude to God by being openly obedient to the plain meaning of the Message of Christ. You show your gratitude through your generous offerings to your needy brothers and sisters, and really toward everyone. Meanwhile, moved by the extravagance of God in your lives, they'll respond by praying for you in passionate intercession for whatever you need. Thank God for this gift, his gift. No language can praise it enough! (2 Corinthians 9:8-15)
May God always cover you Hasker with passionate intercession and blessing. You are the very best of God.

LOUD: Becoming Like Christ
It was a nice night last night. It got a bit colder as we sat there, but the conversation is always warming so I did'nt mind. I always love listening to Angie. She always knows what to say and she is always inspiring and full of advice. But last night she taught me something I can't shake.
We got to talking about the end times. Politics lately has inspired such theological talk because it's apparent we are living in the end times. I know alot of people laugh you off and say your being fanatical or even loopy but I guess those folks are just going to have to wait it out.
But we got to talking about the rapture. She was of the persuasion that there will be no rapture and that believers will go through the tribulation with the rest of the world. During this time Christians will endure severe persuction much of it ending in death. The Anti-Christ will kill all Spirit - Filled people. That is the only way he can end the influence of the Holy Spirit in the earth. Of course, we are the only manifestation of God on earth. It's a haunting thought to some..but for me it provoked me to analyze my faith.
In Phillipians 3:10-11, Paul makes reference to becoming like Christ unto death:
10I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Colossians 1:24,Paul makes another reference for suffering with Him
I want you to know how glad I am that it's me sitting here in this jail and not you. There's a lot of suffering to be entered into in this world—the kind of suffering Christ takes on. I welcome the chance to take my share in the church's part of that suffering. When I became a servant in this church, I experienced this suffering as a sheer gift, God's way of helping me serve you, laying out the whole truth.
In Jewish/Christianity's history, people were persucted for thier faith. There have been mass killings (holocust, NT martyrdom..etc) and if history is true and it always repeats itself. Could there be a chance that the church aint going out like it thought? Could it be that in the final days..you will truly have to suffer as Christ suffered? That you must truly take up your cross and folllow him? Could it be? It would be a far cry from the mystical "left behind series" theroy.
This made me think- Am I ready for the Great Tribulation? I am ready to die for my faith? Will I be scared? Will I watch someone kill my husband? Will I be lined up with my fellow RWOC members and be slaughtered? Will I watch for weeks on TV the glorification of murdering of millions of Christians all over the world and simply await my turn? I know this sounds morbid..but could it be true?
As Easter approaches I feel the challenge of God. I feel him pressing on my heart to be more steadfast in my evagelism. To be more pure in my life so that I may win some people. I need to become more influential to reach more people. I need to do whatever it takes. I need to stop being lazy and pushing the thought that Jesus is coming back off. Because the realility is- is that he is coming back.
May I become more like you God...may I die everyday...
LOUD: We Do It For You to See and Do
1 John 1:1-2 From the very first day, we were there, taking it all in—we heard it with our own ears, saw it with our own eyes, verified it with our own hands. The Word of Life appeared right before our eyes; we saw it happen! And now we're telling you in most sober prose that what we witnessed was, incredibly, this: The infinite Life of God himself took shape before us.
3-4We saw it, we heard it, and now we're telling you so you can experience it along with us, this experience of communion with the Father and his Son, Jesus Christ. Our motive for writing is simply this: We want you to enjoy this, too. Your joy will double our joy!
As I think about the teens today. I think about how God is in the process of taking shape in these teens lives. And as the scripture shows us we get to have a first witness account of his communion(fellowship) with the teens. This should bring us immense joy and it is something to be enjoyed. After traveling for three weekends and being with a new group of teens every weekend. I can truly say that there is something special about our teens. Through the hardship in life they see everyday, they still get on the bus. They dont have to but they do. When the world is all hell around you..it's sometimes hard to see God..but because of the light in you they see some hope of life through the darkness. We get to consider that a joy.
God is at work in the young people all over the world. I refuse to let the news discourage me. They say 1 in 4 teenage girls have an STD and the percentage of African American girls were overwhelming. But you know what that 1 in 4 is our next prophetess, our next evangelist and the next in line to have fellowship with God. I refuse to believe the world's report that the youth of America are lost. And I'm going to be ready to watch the Lord bring His infinite life to thier world.

LOUD: No Greater Love
μειζονα ταυτης αγαπην ουδεις εχει ινα τις την ψυχην αυτου θη υπερ των φιλων αυτου
John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
There is no agape/God like love that no man can hold/have that would give his/breath/soul for his deepest companion/friend.
What a grand love someone must have to sacrafice thier life for us. What love the savior must of had for us. What wonderful opportunity we were given because God expressed his love for us by death. But as I translated the greek..I got some revelation.
The greek translated life also has a meaning for breath and soul. When I think of breath..I think about the Words I speak. It made me think about the Words I sacrafice to show agape love to my friend. What Words of agape love do I give to my neighbor? Do I edify them with the Words of my mouth. Do I give my breath to edify or tear down my friend.
The greek also translates it into soul.
the principle of life, feeling, thought, and action in humans, regarded as a distinct entity separate from the body, and commonly held to be separable in existence from the body; the spiritual part of humans as distinct from the physical part. (Dictionary)
If the soul is the spirit part of a man..then that means that when I love with a God like Agape love then I am loving with my spirit man..which is in essence...God himself(the Holy Spirit). So as I lay down my life/soul...I am being like Christ once again in His death.
So today, on Valentines day....I want to show you agape love and encourage you from the scriptures....today..be like Christ and die to yourself that you may show your friends...the greatest love within you...the love Christ had for his Bride...His friends...Us.

LOUD: A Race with Fashion

Dallas' anti-saggy pants crusader to appear on 'Dr. Phil'
03:24 PM CST on Monday, January 28, 2008
By RUDOLPH BUSH / The Dallas Morning News
rbush@dallasnews.com
While you’re at work this afternoon, some folks at City Hall will be tuning in to Dr. Phil.
After announcing a crusade against saggy pants last year, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway is hosting a viewing party for the Dr. Phil episode he stars in along with Al Sharpton and some kids who sag.
After the show airs, Mr. Caraway plans to moderate a panel with kids from Lancaster High School and discuss how to get students to pull up their pants.
The whole affair marks the high mark of the anti-sagging movement that has seen billboards and rap songs dedicated to keeping pants around the waist.
______________________________________________________________
Did anyone watch this? I sure did. This show was certainly hotter than my crock pot last night. What started off as a healthy conversation about the dress and self respect of young men, turned into a shouting match concerning the responsiblity of Hip Hop and race. Not suprising considering the fact that you have recruited a hightly conservative African American, a distrought white mother, a group calling themselves the "Hip Hop Government", an approval seeking friend-father and a blacl single mother with like 5 kids. Oh and lets not forget our celebrity guests, Al Sharpton and ATL based Hip Hop group, the Ying Yang Twins.
One thing that I noticed last night. Dr.Phil wanted to have a open conversation with African American people..but he had to throw a white person in there to offset the fact that this thing was about race. Considering that the Hip Hop Government stated numerous times, "The word saggin is niggas spelt backwards." And as I continued to watch, the one thing I noticed is that the tension seemed to be turned inward as many people got heated about what they considered to be self respect. Do I let my pants hang low or do I pull them up? If I let my pants sag..am I gay or I am straight? If I sag, will I be profiled or will I be overlooked?
It was no suprise to me that the more conservative older African Americans saw it as a degradation of character, but what about the middle aged father with teenage sons? Did the suppressive culture lighten his judgements of the saggy pants generation. Well apparently, because he was proud to demostrate his guilty pleasure of wearing his pants just a tad bit below his waist line. The white woman seemed so suprised at the shouting...she had to interject several times to bring the conversation down from sonic boom.
Now I must admit this...I loved what the Ying Yang Twins had to say. While people have to blame Hip Hop for all that is wrong in the world, the truth of the matter is this, you do control what you let affect the enviroment around you. If you dont want to enter your house..you provide yourself with a roof. One of the Ying Yang twins so politely stated, " You have internet blocks and tv blocks." and he is right. And one of them made a remarkable statement to one of the children who made a smart a- comment and I quote, "If Im not concerned about my future than what is it to you." The twin said something to the effect,"Do you pay bills, still live in your mama house and not take care of yourself. You are still a child and need to keep your mouth shut." AMEN!! So despite the shouting match between the Hip Hop Government and Ying Yang twins, there was alot of great discussion.
But the question I want to ask is this? As a culture, when are we going to stop looking at all the superfical and non-important issues facing our race. Quite frankly, the fact that my husband is rocking some loose fitting Sean John is the least of my worries. My concern is him becoming the man who God has called to be and help lifting him to reach his destiny. Fashion or any other material thing will never compare to the value of your soul and what you do with your life.
A young men and women need to be taught the value of thier life. It's time to look past the exterior and begin to look inward. As a race, as a people and especially as believers. There is a great need for people to lay down thier lives for our young african american people. They are in desperate need of the Gospel. But quite frankly, it doesnt begin with you trying to change thier exterior.

Meet me on the block
its going down
your eyes as you lower your
visual opinion of me.
Never mind, the fact that you live
just like me
full of hopes, dreams
and life full of limited possiblities.
How dare you judge me by the length of my pants from my ass.
Who are you to determine my class, my status or my place.
When you live like a pauper in your mind.

Straight From My Brain: Typical Stuff
So, as the years have passed by..I have found myself in a more frustrated state..trying to figure out..what the hell I want to do with my life. Yes, it's like that. I know what I like to do. But as I watch 95% of people who work..I find myself asking myself...will you ever do what makes you happy..or will you spend the rest of your life doing something you hate trying to fund the thing you want to do to make you happy. So, you may be asking..so what are you doing to increase your chances of moving toward your destiny dream job. Well, let me just tell you.
So, I have contacted several people in the industry who are successful and good at what they do. I ask them questions, provide my contact and bless them with a word of encouragement. Have I heard anything back from any of these people? NO. I have been instructed by my top mentor, Apostle Ron, to seek out people who are doing things and that are successful, but to all avail..nobody really wants to talk to me. What will it take to find that person?
I find that the mentoring world is kinda reflecting the working world. They really dont want to sow into them if you really dont have nothing to give them. That is why so many college grads have a hard time finding a job..because you want experience and Im trying to get the experience you aint trying to give. This world is so hard. But they look at us as lazy and irresponsible..but hey...I'm trying to be a billionare like you!!!
So alas, another day goes by without a single response from the millionares. So I will keep praying for the right big timer to actually do something good with thier time. (Oh and its not like these people dont have time..because they blow up my bulletin space on my Myspace page with dumb surveys.)

LOUD: Words You Dont Mean

Friends. What a word. What once meant one thing..has now became a whole myraid of meanings. Friends come in many shapes, sizes, colors and even come catered to your specific need. Who needs a pet. You can just get a friend. My concern lately is those who have friends, but who in reality have a mate. Thier whole entire relationship fits that role. They spend time with each other, they answer to each other, they share physical affections, and they openly share thier romantic expressions in pubic. But, when asked about thier current situation, they simply reply with this bashful look, that they are friends. And what do we always say when we hear this...ohh thats great. But at this moment, I am here to declare..(*cough*) BS! Now you know and I know that this is a whole lot of mess. And I can break this thing down for you. 9 times out of ten, the woman only says this to make the guy feel comfortable and if you do have the woman who is the ringleader of this charade..she has a fear of commitment. I dont buy into this who friend mess. Its either you are or you aint. There is not between. It's either yahll are feeling each and your actions are expressing commitment or somebody is really taking the other person on a ride. There is no need for romance if you cant even commit to one another. My advice for the 9 out of 10 women who say this crap is this. Either stop pretending or move on. Why do you have to keep fakin the funk because the dude you are hanging with right now is not "ready". Well then he needs to take an account for the actions he is displaying to you. Fella's its time for you to grow up. I got news for you...your video games and your homeboys cant keep you warm at night and fed. That controller may be able to manipulate that little man on the screen, but it sure aint able to keep your house clean. Some men feel as if a commitment to a woman will put all the other ones away and lock him down. But heaven forbid another man talk to the woman you call friend. Your so sorry.(OHH my bad!) How dare you influence an idea that doesnt exisist. You are a fool and I hope that girl leaves you. As for just taking the time and getting to know her. Well if aint able to commit..then you need to leave it at conversation. Dont hold no hands, dont kiss, dont expect something out of her your not willing to do yourself, have solidarity. For the women who keep believing this whole friend nonsense. Dont be foolish. You are worth a commitment. Stop playing the fool to make him feel more comfortable about you and where yahll are going. Stop playing that card to keep yourself in the game. As a friend once told me when teaching me how to play spades, "Play to Win". If you got a good card lay it out and keep putting the high cards on the table. Put the pressure on to force the other spades unto the table. Im going to drain your spade. So I can win. Dont sell yourself short trying to win approval of a man who is not willing to be worthy of your time and affections. Your mindset should be this, ohh okay no commitment, well Ill pencil you in..because I got thangs to do.We as Christians need to grow up! Being in relationships that dont matter. That waste your God given time and resources. Putting out energy for something that God never meant for us. Im not saying that some relationships dont require sacrafice. But when God sacraficed for us, HE HAD PURPOSE. To be honest, some people are just worth our prayers. We need to move past the sinful alliances we have in our life and produce relationships between each other that bear fruit and have grace. But we are taking a break, or we are just calling it what it is for now. Ohh okay. (*cough*) BS!!What is it is a lack of commitment between the both you. In marriage you dont have the option of breaks. And isnt dating for marriage?? Women you want to be with Boaz? Then you need to leave that man who aint him. Boaz made a commitment to Ruth. There were no loose ends, no second guessing, and she had no doubt about who he was and what he thought of her. If you dont know how he feels about you. Then you are the only one in the relationship. Because he didnt think enough of you to validate you in the relationship. This relationship thing is not hard. Its either it aint or it is. Some of you need to make up in your mind that you will no longer settle for a relationship that is bearing no fruit.Read John 15.
Whatever Happend between me and you
how we were
when we saw the passion for the first time
I knew you were the one for me
I needed the desire
that burned in your heart
love, lust, desire and passionthis was not meant to be disasterous
I was meant to love you
